A simply built room can have architectural interest and look artistic at the same time if the elements of interior design are aesthetically used. Decorating small places to make them look larger is an exceptional art few people have command on. This living room in a rustic design easily grips the muted, brown shades with a few plants to add life. Walls are in lighter colors to make the room seem larger than it actually is, thus giving an idea of space. The neutral palette is enhanced by the beige cushions and sofas, and the rough look of the floor gives you the idea that it is a part of the “outside world”, which is definitely your garden or pavement. The stony floor work and creamy upholstered furniture complement the wooden ledges on the off-white walls.
